Hello! My name is Aeron Shipp, I am currently a student at Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. I am pursuing a degree in Advertising with a Minor in Psychology currently, I am a Jr. with a 3.64 GPA and have been on the Texas State Dean's list for my last three semesters and will be working my hardest to get the four-peat!
I have been working as a Graphic Designer since 2016 it started as a hobby for friends that became a way for me to make a few dollars as a young high school kid, and I fell in love. I have been a competitive athlete my entire life starting from travel baseball to playing varsity tennis for my high school for all four years. I grew up with a passion for sports and always have been more of a creative than logical type of person. If someone looks at the glass half empty, I wonder why the glass isn't a different color, shape, and who picked the drink?
I always wanted to be involved in sports and now growing in age even being 22 I know that I am not as young as I was in high school, Sports graphic design, Sports Photography, Sports Advertising, and Sports Photojournalism are all spaces I could see myself working and being a powerhouse at as I feel I have a deep understanding of many sports and would be a strong suit with creative ideas, as whenever I am near a Sports Arena I can't do anything but take photos and try to calm my brain down from going a million miles a minute!
